The idea was good, the speed necessary, the execution abysmal. Half a trillion here, half a trillion there, and soon enough you're talking real money.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/ju...oting-covid-relief-program-known-ppp-n1279664
They came into their riches by participating in what experts say is the theft of as much as $80 billion — or about 10 percent — of the $800 billion handed out in a Covid relief plan known as the Paycheck Protection Program, or PPP. That’s on top of the $90 billion to $400 billion believed to have been stolen from the $900 billion Covid unemployment relief program — at least half taken by international fraudsters — as NBC News reported last year. And another $80 billion potentially pilfered from a separate Covid disaster relief program.

Even if the highest estimates are inflated, the total fraud in all Covid relief funds amounts to a mind-boggling sum of taxpayer money that could rival the $579 billion in federal funds included in President Joe Biden’s massive 10-year infrastructure spending plan, according to prosecutors, government watchdogs and private experts who are trying to plug the leaks.

Most of the losses are considered unrecoverable,
but there is still a chance to stanch the bleeding, because federal officials say $600 billion is still waiting to go out the door. The Biden administration imposed new verification rules last year that administration officials say appear to have made a difference in curbing fraud. But they acknowledge that programs in 2020 sacrificed security for speed, needlessly.

Now I hear Susan Rice is acting as a "shadow president" for Joe Biden, along with some other individual with whom I'm not familiar and whose name I am therefore unable to recall.

And I'm hearing the "Boys of Brazil" have made a Dotard body double, just as dumazz as the original, to take his place in Rikers.

I’m confused. You don’t know about the religious right or Lauren Boebert but you claim that trump was this great president. Trumps base is deeply rooted in American southern Baptist Christianity. Are you willfully ignorant or are you lying? Both seem like sins in the Bible.

I don't claim that Trump is a great president. I claim he's the worst!

Now... originally I simply stated that it was amazing he was able to facilitate the unfolding of conditions that benefited a great many Americans—including minorities—without even giving a damn.

No, I am not lying. I couldn't care less about Trump's base, and I am neither southern nor Baptist. Yes, I am willfully ignorant. I pay virtually no attention to such groups other than the fact that I listen to Albert Mohler's podcast every weekday morning. But, from what I understand, Dr. Al is no enthusiastic cheerleader for The Donald...

"In the fall of 2016, Albert Mohler, the head of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and one of the most prominent evangelical thinkers in the United States, wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post in which he described Donald Trump as a "crisis of conscience" for religious conservatives, and an 'excruciating' one."

Were I a republican, I would not have voted for trump in the primaries. I considered him to be a clown, and I could not believe the Republicans were seriously going to nominate such a character to be the president of the United States of America.

Nonetheless, when push came to shove, I would have voted for just about any joker to play my part in preventing Hilary Clinton from becoming our nation's leader. So, rather than vote for Jill Stein, Gary Johnson, Evan McMullin, Darrell Castle, Gloria La Riva, Rocky De La Fuente, Richard Duncan or anyone else who had no real chance of winning, I voted for "the clown."

(By the way, being separated from "the world" or having no fellowship with unfruitful works is not a sin in the Bible.)

P.S. Oh yes, and I almost forgot... I HAVE listened to many of the sermons delivered by Charles Stanley in the past.

There are lots of "shadow president"'s for Joe Biden. LOL The guy's almost 80; he needs to be supervised. Not sure Susan Rice is a "shadow president" but Kamala Harris is definitely one. If this is becoming a trend, we need to elect Vice Presidents as well and they shouldn't be appointed anymore especially if the President is beyond a certain age.

Trump is NOT a clown. He might have appeared to be one sometimes with his wacky tweets but he's actually very smart and he implemented many practical solutions that solved many problems and actually made people's lives better. That means a lot more to us ordinary people than some empty slogans like "saving America's soul". Of course not all people are able to look at people's accomplishments for what they are and give them due credit due to sheer stupidity or because of having ulterior motives like those liberal media. To me those are the real clowns.

He'll be able to afford additional legal help for other pending indictments coming his way in 2023 although I thought prosecutors had all the information they needed to indict him in 2022.

Had they indicted him in 2022, the trials would have occurred here in 2023...helping to re-open the door for the return of the old school GOP instead of becoming a circus show in 2024 during the year of Presidential election.
