  1. If you're trading the futures, the locals really appreciate you putting your stops at swing highs and lows, takes all the guesswork out of running them.

  3. MR. MAGNA ;HERE IS HOW SOME OF US USE MOVING AVERAGES TO CUT LOSSES AND LET OUR PROFITS RIDE. HOWEVER MOST OF THESE TRENDS CLOSE BELOW THE 20 DAY MOVING AVERAGE MUCH MORE OFTEN THAN THIS,SO WE CHECK OUR WATCH LIST OF 100 STOCKS TO SEE IF WE BUY SAME STOCK AGAIN.......................................STUDY THIS CANDLECHART, USUALLY TRADE NAS CANDLECHARTS,BUT NGH ,5/1/01 TO 7/14/01 LOOKED GOOD ABOVE ITS 50 ,20 DAY AVERAGE. CARL ICHAN WAS TAKING IT OVER ALSO...................DID NOT SELL ON 6/22/01 BECAUSE STOCK WAS SO STRONG,.............................................ITS CALLED A CHRISTMAS ,CHANUKKAH RALLY BECAUSE STOCKS TEND TO RALLY THIS TIME OF YEAR..............................MAGNA, DO YOU BORROW OR BUY A BUNCH OF TRADING BOOKS,MANY OF US STUDY 12,16 HOURS A DAY.

  4. murray - what are you saying?

Got to say that I've written my share of stream of consciousness posts before, but so far your messages seem to be streams of consciousness fragments. Not sure if anyone else is able to decipher what you're saying, but I can't.

I don't doubt that there's something useful that you're trying to convey, but unless you frame it in a readable and coherent form that people can actually make sense of (instead of just a stream of seemingly unrelated and incomplete thoughts) you're not getting your message across.

And you should turn off your caps lock - it makes your messages look like you're SHOUTING those fragments at everyone.

Not intending to slander Tennesee but maybe it's a regional thing? There's another Murray (T.H. I think) also in Tennesee who hypes that goofy "Murray Math" stuff who writes the same way.

Guys thanks for all your post, I'm changing my stop's from a absolute system to one based on the trends volatility. I don't know why I did not see it sooner. :)

  7. MR.Archangel ,quite frankly I have some goofy ,horible math losses on Nasdaq,Nyse candlecharts stocks, under $5.oo

Mentioned the Christmas-Chanukkah rally(probability)because sometimes thats an important part of the Nasdaq"Best moves are Nov. thru March"Quote from`Stock Traders Almanac,2001,pg. 90

Moving averages helps keep things in perspective, thats one thing I have found helpful on Nasdaq,Nyse.
