  1. Does anyone know if you stop paying your credit card can the credit card company go after your online brokerage account for any funds you have in securities?

  2. So far it has never happened to me and I do not know of any of my coworkers.

I actually dont think that is even practiced here in Miami. We do however get an extensive background check to make sure we are not criminals or that we have done a poor job in accounting in the past.

  3. I think you are wrong but you could turn out to be right in the future. but it is highly unlikely.

My life is not credit oriented. It is income oriented. That's why I do everything I can to boost my income. I do so by having degrees.

I cant imagine how my life will be when I am CPA and I have 2 masters degrees.

  5. Credit is mostly a way to keep the masses enslaved in their 9-5 jobs working for their masters.

Good credit rating/score? What a fucking joke!

Just make some damn good coin, QUIT buying shit on plastic/credit & tell the banks/masters to fuck off & put their "score" system up their asses.

The only thing "credit" is good for is to rack up up $100-200K of CC debt and then give the banks the middle finger.

    377OHMS

Why should I wait until I'm too old to enjoy the fruits of my labor?

The chinese say I can have the mansion and toys right now and pay for it later at a modest interest rate. Most of the big things I buy all appreciate so it ends up paying off. They supply leverage and I locate value. They share my risk and I have autonomy over what is purchased and the terms. Its almost a business in the long term.

Where does the enslavement come in? Are you referring to the fact that I have assumed large credit obligations and so I'm "enslaved" to the bank in the sense that I must make payments?

The banks didn't force me to buy a mountaintop castle. I wanted the damned thing. They faciliated the purchase for a fixed rate but I will own the appreciation. Yeah, some real estate appreciates, even these days. I'm not a slave, I'm a grateful homeowner.

  9. I am glad for you since you love the system. Good luck and I wish prosperity. However, It does piss me off that you don’t respect my position.

So I smell hypocrisy. You are a victim of the system. Just like the movie matrix you would even fight to defend it.

    An noble obedient slave.

  10. Jueco, most don't respect your position because the collective actions of people like you is what could destroy everything we have today. You think your 'higher education' diplomas and cushy job will even exist or be worthwhile anymore if everyone just decided to do what you are doing? It would be game over for us all.

Whether you like it or not, this world has become a credit driven world. If you don't want in, take care of your debts and then say F- U to the CC companies and live off of cash. You're perfectly entitled to do so. But walking away from your responsibilities can have a systemic impact if everyone decided to go down that road. And I don't want your irresponsibility to affect me negatively
