Stop paying credit cards. Give yourself a bailout!!

  1. Ahh - good to see this thread pop back up after a year. It was interesting to see the discussion on ethics among traders - who I feel are usually more ethical than the average person. I never did post before so but here are my 2 cents.
I consider myself pretty ethical - try to be vegetarian, wouldn't steal - in fact I even consider wealth redistribution to be theft and support the right of the filthy rich to keep their money (unlike almost everyone else who seems to think government theft is OK).
As for running up credit cards though, here is my take. The system is set up such that banks are basically parasitizing society by monopolizing the issuance of credit. If you don't understand the scam, research Austrian economics a bit. On top of the fundamental scam, banks also get taxpayer bailouts to backstop any losses from risky loans.
Now this scam will continue until the public wakes up to it one day in the form of high inflation. Nothing you or I do can stop the inevitable. Banks will push this system as far as they can until it breaks the currency.
Think you are doing "society" a favor by not defaulting on debt? Come on, just by taking the debt you have already shifted the burden of potential default onto society. You might as well say that anyone who takes bank credit is stealing (and I think you could make that argument).
But nonetheless, this is the system that the public has allowed to exist, and the sheeple will not wake up until the bailouts and inflation reach a certain level.
So does it make any difference if an idiot with an overmaxed mortgage defaults or if a "loser" intentionally defaults on credit cards? Not as far as the market is concerned.
I understand there is a lot of anger out there - but face it angry people, those "losers" got away with it and that is the real reason you are angry.
When a system ALLOWS theft, you are an idiot to be angry at the thief and not angry at the SYSTEM.
Return to sound currency or at least take away the bank's monopoly on issuance of currency and ability to get taxpayer bailiouts. If you do that, then this "theft" by "losers" will not be possible. But no... you angry folks are still a bit brainwashed into thinking bank credit is somehow holding up the economy. So keep believing what you want and bend over for what's coming next from the banksters - while the "losers" keep enjoying their free money.

Not paying my credit card bills when I can is not an option, but sometimes these banks and the things they pull makes me want to see them all go under.

I have a running balance due to a business start-up by my wife. She charges on Credit Card A, which turns out to have quite high interest. Credit Card B, has a smaller balance but has jacked up their rate even higher.

Credit Card C, which has a zero balance, send an offer for balance transfers at 0% for a year. I move B to C, which takes up half the available credit. Immediately C sends me a letter saying they reduce the credit line to just over what I transferred.

    What jerks.

Reminds me of the arab terrorists who come to the USA, run up large debts and then abandon the obligation and run back to their filthy villages like it was some victory.

If your brain equivocates theft with success then you have a hard life in front of you. If you sell out your potential for 12k then you are a confirmed loser.

The smart people play the game, and win. I can't imagine how some debtor loser ends up on ET because it isn't likely you are going to trade successfully when you cannot manage basic life expenses.

  7. Hahaha!! LOL!

Try telling your next potential employer that you don't have an expensive college education/degree but gathered all the same knowledge & more studying everything on the internet.

You'll be laughed out of the interview with the door slammed on your ass. What the hell are you even talking about?

  8. Take 1 class at a university so you can say you went there. Now you solved your problem 95% of employers dont check your education. Heck, at least 50% of employers dont even check your past work experience(unless you go to work for a big corporation, but if its small, they dont usually check)

  10. So now you're advocating someone lie, tell an employer he's got a degree.

Maybe you can get away with that bs if it's a car salesman job but a decent position will require a lot of verification.

Many positions can cause untold $millions in damages to a company.

So now, the thing to do is pay your CC bills on time, get an internet education and lie to your employer about your degree!

Hey, the young generation are all set.
