Stop paying credit cards. Give yourself a bailout!!

  1. Half a point slippage on each trade, mini's have 1/4 spread, and many have a hard time trading them, do you really think you can make money trading at a half point slippage, and make money over a long period of time?

Word of caution: Take money or trading advice from this schlepp at your own peril!

  2. Scalping is totally out of the question, but if your style is holding for intraday swings, daily, weekly swings, then sure, you can make money. There will always be a few winning traders taking money off the majority in any form of trading. No different here. Remember, the spread is higher but there is no tax to pay.Horses for courses. Could you afford to trade the big futures contracts in the real markets? This gives you access to them at low stakes. Also there are no issues about getting a fill they are not matching buyers and sellers, though sometimes if the market is moving quickly, they may requote you which is another reason why this is not for scalpers.

  3. According to some people here, the morals of these people mark them out as losers who also can't be any good at trading.

People that have never defaulted can't sort these things out very well... I have defaulted. I agree that I should have made every effort to pay off debt, I agreed to the debt, I should pay it... but my wife was able to get a ton of debt without my knowledge at one point, she's not a financial wizard to say the least, and I was technically on the hook for it, the payments were coming out of our household and I never even knew the debt was there until the payments were overwhelming the missus and she had to fess up....

CC companies can stick me with debt without my consent really.....

After you default and it goes to collections it's just a big game in the US. If you do make a single little payment it resets the date on the time period where bad debt will show on your record. Once it's in collections you might as well dodge and hide until the statute of limitations runs out, assuming you can do that...

And you expect folks here to believe you have any integrity with respect to trading

I dont expect people to 'believe' anything mate.
Thats why i dont make wild random claims ever.

Instead i just keep doing what i do to earn my living, call all the the trades i make live, and let the results speak for themself everyday, whether its a profit or loss. :)

Why do you feel the need to write your username after every single post you make btw??! :D :p

Cos it always baffles me and pisses me off when people do that as its not like we cant see who the post is by!
And this is just an internet forum, not an offical letter, so it doenst make you look more professional when people do that,
just makes you look foolish. :D

Mate if you cant even handle that little slippage you seriously should really go back to demo trading untill you can. :D  :p

I scalp crude oil with a 12ticks spread, and even that is manageable.

So you shouldnt be so worried about the spread size.
