Update are hard to come by. His 'Russian' episode is apparently ancient history. He is fighting cancer and underwent chemo for throat cancer. He posted an update about this on his site (http://stocktiger.net/newsletters/a14.php) last year (2013). He touched many lives, no matter who he was and I will miss his insights. I wanted to take the time to post this out of respect.
