atticus: people on ET are most suited for psychoanalysis. then again too many are too far gone even if they could afford one which is unlikely.

Don't show your lack or respect for history and class Americans.

Watch the wedding, the music, the troops, the guests, the horses, the procession, the buildings etc etc and if you're not impressed you have little if any soul.

It doesn't matter which country it is, if they can put on a show like that, it's a credit to them.

I'm English, but if I was American I'd be very much impressed, just like I am with some of the things that your country does.

  9. It's a hell of a show, but the most impressive part is how they get the dumb masses to sit still as hundreds of millions of their money are squandered on this nonsense, while getting "austerity" cuts rammed down their throats.

The media line is that the royal family produces a net profit including tourism. Maybe. But it must suck to be William, given his predecessors -- instead of becoming an all-powerful sovereign commanding war campaigns, holding vast wealth and influence, he's looking at a lifetime of being a tourist gimmick.
