Getting a bit desperate with your thesis eh? Well, not to worry, when the Ben Bernank annihalates your ass at least you could say ISLAGI(ATT) It Seemed Like A Good Idea (At The Time). The bottom line is that if cash appreciates too much (or indeed at all) every government in the world is going to go belly up. Until we get real public discontent against their policies which are aimed at reducing the debt with limited public outrage (I believe Bill Gross or someone else calls this financial repression, and that is a very accurate term) which I think we are unlikely to see considering the fact that most people still have a house, a car and a TV. In the meantime cash will continue to be trash as governments squeeze the financial system to get out of their predicament. This could last for at least a decade or two by the way, it's a really big debt load that has to be unwound and these methods are very slow but relatively painless compared to a global restructuring. If there were to be a global restructuring, which is an idea I had a bit more than half a year ago, then cash would be king and literally everything else would go down in value. This scenario is looking exceedingly unlikely at this point.
By contesting my Top Call you have yourself made a CALL. No compensation = volunteer = nothing wrong, but then let's not get into Lalaland and talk about getting rich. If you really do have the goal to be a wealthy investor then currently your HAVINGNESS status is that of a BUM, wherein you can't even get paid for your time. Man can't serve both God and Mammon, the latter being money.
typical ET retard who does not even understand that he's taken the other side of the trade called "deadbroke" ..... one will be right and the other wrong ... both viewpoints are valid until the termination of the trade when the winner will be announced if still alive. Thus far and still far from the finish line, deadbroke is thrashing Mr. Bernanke soundly. However only the result at the finish line counts.
The person who sells and urges extreme caution at or close to the TOP is NEVER popular, generally unamimously hated and considered an enemy and traitor. Investing/trading's goal is to make money and as can be easily deduced, therefore the opposite vector of "being liked and being popular" Practical application at ET: 99.9% of ET aka stupid people aka THE HERD charging full of steam, emotion and self-righteousness toward the cliff edge, every single one of the said group in unanimous agreement - the one thing they CANNOT tolerate is a dissenter.
"QUOTE]Quote from Zr1Trader: Your first step is to quit calling tops against the biggest stimulus in US history. I don't need to be compensated for the pleasure to delete posts of people who don't have the mental capacity to provide anything other than spam. Reminds me of someone [/QUOTE]" "you remind me of someone" you remind me of a mod who got kicked out of his position. it took your last sentence to make the connection. I question your capacity to provide anything other than to make trouble. start with personalizing you will be gone a 2nd time.
One very important characteristic of the HERD and its members: The HERD has its Rules and Laws and generally enforces them quite well - sure there are errors now and then but they have courts to handle injustices. But all Rules and Laws are thrown out the window when the HERD and the police officers therein encounter one unanimously hated individual .... that individual be me, deadbroke, already both dead and broke, but that ain't enough for ET - they want me killed permanently, that means spiritually too. Usually in my threads a band of turds rides shotgun on me all night long - I usually leave them deep in the desert, no oasis in sight - takes them days to get back to civilisation. God, do I love it so - never did realize at first that ET would not, could not provide an education in technical or fundamental trading, rather its strength is in the CROWD PSYCHOLOGY arena aka CROWD SENTIMENT arena.
you let the cat out of the bag. actually there are some exceptions to your thesis. these provide useful info.
So if I post a thread the world is going to end tomorrow you would go long? Contrarianism is very overrated, especially in the short term.
