Stocks higher? PIMCO manager says don't bet on it!

  1. The difference is you are selling the content in your example. Nothing in the article is being sold here, and the poster profited nothing by posting it.

  2. It is legal to copy/paste <em>excerpts</em>. "Stating the source" has no bearing. "Not profiting" is a factor, but not decisive. Even schools and libraries are constrained.

  3. Based on the criteria listed in said definition of copyrighting, I see no issue whatsoever in the OP, as I said originally.

    Now what say we get back to the idea that Pimco is going to cash?

  4. I'm not sure how someone can read the government's summary I linked to, and come to that conclusion, but, whatever. I have no horse in this race, and reasonable people can disagree without being disagreeable...
