    Take that $13K and buy 10 Jan 2023 $45 calls on C3-AI @$12.80'contract.
    $AI

    Or... 50 of the Jan 2023 $ABB $35 calls for $2.50
    I like that even better.

    MSTR, Jan/22 calls

Yea, it's pretty much a concentrated bet on bitcoin btc, and seems to be tracking btc quite well

The problem is there is a wide spread on the options, so this is not for daytrading or even short term trading. buy and hold (and pray, lol). The underlying stock also has a wide spread

I entered initially at a high price and with the btc correction in Sept, the stock lost ~$150/share and the options lost ~70% of its value, so naturally, I more than doubled my position. With the stock at about the same level as the first option purchase, those options are still down, but the additional purchased options make up the loss

I can get out for break-even, give or take, high-40K, but more than half of the cost came from AMD call profits

My proprietary, fantasy-induced, back of the envelope, algo-analysis, mental projection is that if btc is at ~$75K by January expiration, then MSTR would be ~$850, and I could break even

And that's pretty much, the bet. In the grand scheme of things, it's a small bet as I'm already long spot 20 btc's , but that's why the actual crypto is superior to options in that there's no expiration

I really really like the C3-AI you just mentioned, Vanz! Thank you for that and will keep it on my radar.

AI is a good one, but with the uncertainty of interest rates it's pricey.
I like ABB on the continued electrification of the EU, and then the States.
Macron just said yesterday France will be (or he wants to) installing mini-nuke power plants. ABB I'm sure will have their hand in this pot in a big way. AI could go to the moon tomorrow, ABB not so much, but its solid. It was at $38 a month ago.

On MSTR, yeah I saw that on the bid/ask. I did an overlay of BTC with MSTR... I don't think MSTR will get anywhere near $850 even if BTC goes to $80K before January.

I know its hard to take a loss, I don't like being the bearer of bad news, but if MSTR doesn't start up real soon, real hard with a ton of volume, those calls are deteriorate exponentially. You'll be shocked at how fast they drop. IF BTC make one of it's big runs an breaks $60K, that'll be the day to cut your losses, bite the bullet, and get out. Options like that on a company like this.... bad juju.

  5. Police training company, it’s VTSI $11.7(I would wait for a pullback because the thin ones sell off on low volume.).

LTRX I finally catch a bid after holding for months at $5.80-$6.1(Average). Not selling either for now. Craig H say’s $13, will see.

Thanks Vanz! You're a good friend, no worries on being the bearer of bad news

I'm not at a loss, currently. Initial cost of 2 MSTR calls were 32K and change, the additional 3 MSTR calls cost 16K and change, and right now, each call option is still over 10K

I made over 30K profits on AMD calls after about a month holding, could have been bigger, but i did not get out at the top. I tagged you on those AMD options in bitcoin price thread

So on the MSTR calls, I respectfully disagree with you on how it tracks btc price, which I believe is a function of the 114K btc's that MSTR owns. It may increase, as MSTR is a company that has a mission to keep pouring all it could afford to buy more bitcoins, even borrowing and selling its shares. Talk about dedicated bitcoin believers :D

I'm willing to take a full loss on what is currently valued at $50K worth of MSTR call options Jan/22 for what I believe is an easy target of $850/share on the MSTR or a $75K/btc by 3rd week of Jan 2022

And it's not going to hurt me that much :D

What's going to hurt is if btc is below $50K by 3rd week of Jan 2022 (although hodling btc's don't have an expiration) as that's over $100K negative delta on spot 20 btc's from current btc price

  7. Nice trades on DUST, GDX and SOFI. All day OCUL and OCGN been cranking along well. Are you watching the action in CCJ and MGM Oct $50s? Oct $50s too short for me, need more time.

  8. All uranium plays have plenty of upside left. OCGN may test 10 and if that breaks through the shorts will cave. Look at all the volume on those Oct 15 ten calls. That's the line in the sand

  10. We need another AEHR, there's a little razor thin stock SOTK came out with earnings. Do you have any thoughts? I like waiting because day traders get stuck with these bigger spreads that collapse on 5000 shares.
