Thank you very much for sharing Vanzandt, Personally, I will not allocate capital to this company because it has a weak financials ex/ it PE ratio is 56 and its industry PE ratio are 35.
There's a reason for that too. Using pe as your only metric will never work if you want your portfolio to excel. The big money pays premiums for a quality story. And that is in fact the case with Boyd. Their casino's are packed and its one of the best re-opening trades in the gaming industry outside WYNN ( their Macau operations) if Macau stays covid free. edit... with that said, if this covid delta thing gets much worse, yes, there might be a problem.
Sure, PE alone will do nothing without going into details of the companies financials but its one of the good criteria's for screening

Hello everyone, Do you know any county which is suitable to invest in at the current moment besides China and New Zealand? For New Zealand, I'm planning to buy some units of $ENZL in the range of 59.12 to 60.00 because I don't have access to their stock market, if you have any other countries, please share them. (Take into consideration the inflation rate and its stock market valuation)
Vietnam my friend. I said this last December. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/ideas-for-now.343946/page-301#post-5271810 Up over 20%.... and it would be much more if not for their Covid response, or lack thereof. Wait till Covid becomes a thing of the past, or whatever.... a daily reality I guess. The etf's are etf's. They suck. Find a quality pure play multinat in Vietnam. ....Then check back in 3 years with my Xmas presents.
Thank you my friend, I looked at their inflation rate and GDP it looks good but I need to dig deeper, The problem of these kinds of markets like Vietnam and New Zealand is you don't have access to their individual stocks easily most of the time you should open an account with a local brokerage firm which I am too lazy to do this is why I go to ETFs to give me some diversified exposure there.
