ok, I live in Indiana and will start preparing for hurricanes. That way we'll have both sides covered. See you after the crash.
Ok man...I lived through 10 years of Chicago winters....I can't imagine how cold it's gonna be up there when the financial crisis takes out the sun or whatever is going to happen.
if you've lived through ten yeas of Chicago winters, you've already lived through the worst of it. For you, the rest of it should be a piece of cake.
I'm going to have to eat the 2 months of canned goods I purchased in 2007 (expiration coming). But then I will replenish....
I don't know man.....all this talk about living in my house for a month straight....eating other humans to survive......I can't remember this talk during a blizzard in Chicago. Yes I was younger and like most traders at that time drank a lot, but even in ridiculous drunk state I can't remember seeing other people eating each other to survive.
they were doing it, you just never saw it, probably too drunk. There's more than one way to serve man. www.simplerecipies/jeffreydommerjr.net
Its funny that you say this. I have been an vid backcountry camper/hiker for years and have gone from a 40lb bag for my 4 night over night trips to under 15 lbs with most of my equipment now being ultralight. The one thing I refuse to do is have all my meals be dry food.
BUY AMMO, then go do your shopping after everything hits the fan. Lower initial cost and space requirements for storage. I think my wife has enough hamburger helper at the house to feed us for a year. There is a giant herd of cats living at an abandoned house a street over....who needs canned food LOL
I've only got two cans of baked beans. If they have to last through the month, I'll have to buy one more can.
