Is there such thing as a demo or mock account where you can trade stocks? Obviously it's not hard to open an account to trade currencies with fake money, but what about stocks?
Many online discount brokers, like Optionsxpress or Thinkorswim offer paper trading. Interactive Brokers offers paper trading to funded accounts (you can buy T-Bills meanwhile you learn). Generally speaking, the shorter your time frame, the less accurate it would be compared to real world trading.
