Um I never shorted yahoo, and yahoo is still a good short. Yea it has been an awesome run for the index crushing the market by over 40% and I've made plenty of money. Take some off the table? No need to. I simply see no end to the upside in the forseable future. The big winners here are RIMM, BIDU, GOOG, AAPL, CHAP, and FWLT GS, MA and DM didnt do as well though. I would replace DDM with FXI and replace GS with ISRG and keep MA in the index. Also, I'm really liking AMZN after the big selloff today. MA and GS didn't enjoy the tech and industrial runup the other picks have had in the past two months. And DDM didn't get the opportunity to double the dow since the dow was flat.
I'll take your not answering my question as a no. Well, I hope everything goes well for you, but sooner or later....Yikes you'd buy ISRG now? Are you sure you're not Jim Cramer?
All smooth sailing for these stocks and the market. Cramer or not. Doesn't matter who you listen to. The truth will prevail. The key is making money which as this index demonstates is very easy to do if you buy quality high momentum high growth large cap stocks that have great products and services.
I ditched the GS and DDM awhile ago and Lessened holdings on aapl. Been putting money in EWZ and FXi calls and such. Fully vested though. No cash.
Here is the full list of stocks and ETFs I recommend that satisfy the criteria I used to pick my original stocks in the index: GS RIMM BIDU GRMN VMW FWLT EXM EWZ FXI MA PCLN AMZN AAPL GOOG CROX DRYS FSLR total: 17
If stock_trad3r is a permabull, then why is he on a TRADER board? A permabull would only need to follow the buy and hold strategy, right?
ok, stock-trd3r i think you should stick to your long calls exclusively. you've been saying yhoo is a good short but all it does is go up. 30% in 6 weeks so far since i went long.
You realize, of course that this will smoke the market in bull markets and get crushed in bear right? (Its almost like a "new" nasdaq-17 index lol). Actually, kudos for putting together a modernized version of QQQQ. (Since QQQQ + nas100 are heavily weighted towards biggest stocks, like s&p) The key will be what your sellpoint/reenter point is, or if you "buy and hold" during the high beta drawdowns (or scale in). THAT will show that you are the stock_trad3r u claim to be.
