Just being a supremely wealthy American is the best thing any person could wish and be, at least on this fucking pathetic planet, and could care less about losses in trades, and smile at a lucky trade.

You talk as if you are one of those people who value morals, skills, spirituality, god or schooling ... and ur trying to say that being wealthy is nothing special ... actually fuck morals, skills, god, university degrees and shit like that, if they are not going to add to ones wealth, or at least secure it ...

  9. I don't know about that...wealth is important, but I know people who do nothing but scrape by and travel and as a travel junkie I'd trade in all the money I've made to travel if I had to choose between the two. But, luckily I don't have to, and I already have both. :p

My largest drawdowns were while traveling and not minding my investments...but that was also at a time when I was more of an off-the-cuff investor and now I research my investments better and invest for longer term. I've had a few $100k+ drawdowns which hurt like hell, but my gains have blown those drawdowns out of the water.

Actually, in the 4 years I've been investing I've spent probably 2 years in total of that traveling for leisure. I think I've at least risked my capital in exchange for something I find more appealing on a human level and that's important to me.

I understand what you're saying and if I didn't have the money I have at the young age I have it at I'd probably feel way different...but I do and I attribute that to a number of things and if I didn't travel and instead tried to make money faster than I already am it would probably blow up in my face. :D

Going to spend the whole of next year traveling in the S. Pacific, India, and SE Asia and put all of my investments up to the risk challenge again.

    Cheers and good luck. :D
