  1. Current positions:

    TXU 51.13
    XEC 44.33
    SHG 83.40
    IMCL 37.06

    HCC (I'm short 1/2 shares for hedge)

    AGO 26.65

    decent size in TXU and XEC

    All is not lost today, Many things gained. Proceeding into next week with decent positions.

    Now that I have part of the money used up, I can concentrate on daytrading for some side cash.

    I feel bullish on the market, we will head into a retrace, then rally higher, I needed to put my money into use, daytradings fine, but swing is recurring income I don't need to watch after the intial entry.

  3. ===============
    TRB sector is still mostly downtrends, most time frames.

    Right on about praying;
    another good time to pray is before entry/position size.

    OIH sector is questionable if it will close the gap?????;
    and about 15 minutes till close,XLE sector looks long/strong, uptrends.

    CNBC midpoint midday Art Cashin is one of my favorite s;
    Art Cashin, director of floor operations, mentioned helicopters preparing to evacuate oil workers in Nigeria.
    Cashin Quote '' a good sign '' unquote.:cool:

  4. Slept a few hours,

    Woke up, Oil sector went to take a poop along with YM

    Checked out OIH and XLE

    Both charts don't look promising :)

    But we'll see on monday.

    Whats up with TRB?

    Too slow for me, No growth in that stock, stock rises to $33 10% and its the world for it :)

    i am curious as to your reasoning on these for swing trades. they didnt meet any of my criteria...but obviosly yours are differnt. HCC looks ok. but i would like to see better volume and money flow patterns.

  6. All my trades are based on Price action/ Volume

    So I believe you can call my style breakout trading,

    I trade a lot of breakouts.

  7. Good post. Cause it made me think for awhile.

    Didn't move my stops lower because my stops were non-existent on that particular entry.

    Because no Low was made (problem) kept going lower.

    New rules:
    All SWING trade entries will be done using the following:

    1. Low stated from previous day as stop.
    2. If previous Low too far away (more then .50%) ->
    Entry will only be done using
    DAYTRADE entry methods, NOTHING ELSE.

    Daytrade 5 min entry -> Stop placed accordingly.

    Margin usage on TDW: later in the day,
    Now that I think of it (that was quite risky considering the liquidity issue) scratched that so... diasater avoided.

    Lets prevent that from happening next time.

    Still ironing out the bugs for swing trade adaptation,

    Cleared up on where entries should be made (daytrade entry + stop vs swing entry + stop )

    Re-confirmation:
    Keep size smaller while fine tuning.................................

  8. NEW IDEAS = SMALLER SIZE.

    GREED KILLS.

    Everytime I think of a new idea, I get all excited and max size like a retard.
    [Yesterday it was a mass position idea]
    lol

    I followed my SMALL SIZE plan all week while testing my other daytrading strategy (pretty good),

    except today , I went buck wild for some reason on swing trading. Didn't lose much, but shouldn't have lost much at all in the first place.

    Not a newbie anymore. Shouldn't have stop issues/risk issues/ greed issues.
