Stock sectors

    2 questions:

    Assuming I know nothing about a stock, how can I find out what sector it belongs to?

    Also, what's a good free source to monitor the sectors' relative strength?

    For sector info:

    finance.yahoo.com > enter a symbol > then in the left-hand column, click on "profile".
