Stock Screening

  1. Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive tool for simple screens - like all stocks that close above MAx, with volume of x, and price of x?

Is TC2000 the best tool? What about StockCharts.com? Any feedback is GREATLY appreciated.

I use TC2000, and it can do that as well as more complicated scans.

The downside is that it is loaded on your computer, and you updated the data nightly. So, if you are traveling and do not have access to your computer, you are out of luck. I see a web-based service being superior here, expecially if the screens are simple as you described.

  3. Check out stockfetcher.com, owned by the same company that has marketsim.com.
