    wwatson,
LOL. I am not really looking for any kind of contest, those that know me know well that I don't take trading as a war, fight, contest etc.. I appreciate your objective approach that makes great contrast to outright dismissal in style 'They want your money" (sure, anyone who has a product, does - it's called capitalism, and I promise you it's much better working system than socialism, believe me, I know this firsthand).

    10K,
sorry, will answer a bit later when market calms down and I am done with afternoon class.

    Good trading today guys!

Since I am a self-taught aspiring daytrader I have been utilizing chatrooms for several months. My goal is to learn to fish, not be handed a fish for the day. You need to establish objectives and goals.

Yes I was a member of M-T for one month. I am presently a member of Undergroundtrader and RealityTrader. Today is my last day of a two week trail at Waxie's Trendfund. I did a trial at MTrader and Firetraders. They all offer something to someone or they would not remain in business. I can tell you I can certainly understand why they operate chatrooms. It is a LOT easier to make money from subscribers than it is to make money from trading. We are in a protracted bear market and I don't believe the bull market will return any time soon. If you don't catch some action by 11:00 expect to get chopped to death every afternoon. These conditions really suck. You need to trade very cautiously or you will get hurt.

I keep going back to undergroundtrader although I have cancelled three times. I just re-joined yesterday. If you do a search for my posts or the individual chatrooms you will learn enough to establish a list of chatrooms to explore and evaluate. The free trials are great but my experience was that you need more than one or two weeks to determine the true nature of the room.

I hope this helps you, good luck, you will need it in this market!

But it is both a contest and a war. THAT is what capitalism is all about. Competition.

Looking at your website also reminded of the other snake oil tell tale sign: references to the spiritual.

so, let's set the record straight. Are you claiming that our service is snake oil, with no substance, no sound method, offering members nothing of value?

  8. Funster,

As many on this board know by now, I am the FIRST guy to slam snake oil... but when it comes to Vadym's (Threei) site and his offerings here and on SiliconInvestor.com, I have no problem with saying that for newbies who want their hand to be held during the learning curve, Vadym's site is one of the 5% of places I would recommend (Farley's and Oz's stuff are great too, in my opinion).

Over many years of association with this business I have yet to hear a valid reason why someone does not simply trade for a living and no more if they are any good.

One that made me laugh was a seminar I went to in which we were told "I made $1million in 18 months trading in a back room but missed human contact ". The standard pitch involved taking the prospective customers out to a meal in the evening. I then overhead this particular person asking his secretary to hire a semi-decent car for the evening to park outside the restaurant as my business partner and I had turned up in my new (at the time) Porsche 911! The guy had been in this business since the Seventies and you could tell he had very little to show for it.

Clients, customers, not to mention irritating people like me at every turn are something you come into this business to avoid!

There is easier, more profitable money to be made in other industries if you don't mind these hassles.

So whilst I admit I only just scanned your website briefly, if you go with the "high probability, low risk trade", it is most definately guilty until proven innocent in this arena.

As you continually recommend his site at every opportunity, I'm curious. While I know you appreciate his posts here and on SI, have you ever actually been a paying member of RealityTrader? Or, honestly, have you ever even done the 1-week free trial? If not, what are you basing your strong recommendations on? BTW, I did the free trial there a while back, and although I didn't sign up for the membership I thought it was a pretty good site.
