This chart is what I'm going to be using the most. It is 4 markets, at 96 lunar month intervals. When price movement lines up in the 3 series presented of each market, you have a higher probability of success trading that market during the time period shown.

These charts don't start until the full moon day of Oct 13. So these cycles are yet future. The vertical lines are the start of each calendar month. What I did was start these charts on the day of the full moon shown at the top, and added 100 days, and drew lines that show the start of a new calendar month.

An example of a future trade is shown on the gbpusd chart. Expect gbpusd to go down starting about Nov. 8 to Nov. 16.

Historical data was obtained from Dukoscopy broker in Europe. It is free to download the data of a bunch of different markets.

What did Jim Sloman miss? I am dumbfounded that no one else has ever figured this out as it is so simple. The average length of a lunar month is 29 days, 12 hours, and 44 minutes. Round the 44 minutes to 45 minutes. What does that tell you? Full moons occur, not just on a day, but at a specific time of day that astronomers can pin point to the exact fraction of a second. Hence, if a full moon occurs at say, 1:00 am, then it would take 32 lunar months for the time of day of the full moon occurs to return to 1:00 am. So the same is for 96 lunar months. For some unknown reason, it also applies to non lunar month cycles as well. I found that the cycles repeat in an imperfect fashion over these time periods without unknown periods where it is not known if a turn point date will be a high or low.

Ignore the 45 minutes and you have the average length of a lunar month at 29 days, 12 hours. What does that tell you? That 2 lunar months is a time frame that can be used for intraday cycles such as displayed above with the crude oil example. The vertical lines are placed on the hour of day the FM occurs for each series compared. It works on one lunar month intervals also. This is my own original discovery and not a modification of an existing cycle type analysis.

I might as well disclose it for public record that I am the one to discover this information.

What is the underlying rationale for this type of analysis giving you any edge - ie where does the alpha come from?

Do you in fact use these predictions as the basis for a profitable, live trading system?

The man who paid Jim Sloman $1.25 million for this (I can't use his name as it is Trademarked), unfortunately has Alzheimers now, which was told to me by Larry Williams. Jim Sloman died a year or two ago.

Also the claim that this is patent pending is a lie. Natural phenomena cannot be patented. Also, book titles are not covered by copyright. There is a book about this, but I leave that up to others if they want to find it.

Let me point out what you got wrong about your question and why people fail even with this. This is NOT A TRADING SYSTEM!!!!!!!!! IT DOES NOT TELL YOU TO GO LONG NOW, OR SHORT NOW. Everybody wants something to tell them when to go long, or short. This is not one of those things.

It is a method of market analysis that can be used to improve probabilities of having a good trade.

Sorry for all the caps, but people always get this wrong.

What does alpha mean? This is a rhetorical question as whatever it means is meaningless.

Biofeedback of the 2020s. Who woulda' thunk that would ever come back into vogue? But hey, these sorts of things peak and trough in 25 year cycles, of which this has now completed one full 50-year oscillation.

Anybody who paid big $$$ for this info from you know who, wasted their money on a flawed version of the real thing. I fell for it too. The ad that states "incredible accuracy" is close to false advertising.

Perhaps a moderator could move this thread to the journal section as it will involve more than stock indexes.
