Last night you made this post. If momentum leads price how does momentum go down when price is rising? Edit: I am not trying to make you look like a fool. I am trying to prevent you from continuing to be one.
1) I used to draw TL's across the highs and lows but I don't use them any more. 2)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Momentum 3) Yes, I post some but not all of my trades in a real time in the ET Index Futures chat room. I also post my PnL here on ET http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=113193&perpage=6&pagenumber=246 How about you?
http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=121271 Here's a question for the stochs experts/supporters I asked earlier that remains unanswered.
Dude, not your style. Goinglite was sharing information and helping people develop their trading skills before you even knew what an e-mini was. What he is saying is correct for the tools that he uses to trade successfully everyday ... how do I know? I see the concepts displayed in my trading as well. Please let everyone know when you're using RTH data feeds on your PnF charts, then maybe you will also see what he is talking about. ... (well, maybe) Good Luck
I will give your analysis some thought. I like what you are doing. But I don't call people fools. I don't have time for name calling. Up until that last statement, you were alright with me. Maybe I need to move on.
Good question. The answer lies iin studying volume and how it relates to price ... oh no, here comes another round of flames.
Yeah, I've seen some of your posts ... just wanted to make sure there was a reason that you were talking about trendlines, lagging and leading indicators and such, as they don't bear that out.
Well I hope he helped people. I have no problem with that. I just have a problem with statements like "momentum leads price", followed by momentum falls as price rises. Sorry, but it just doesn't. Sure you can trade divergences. Just call it as a divergence. Don't make blanket statements that momentum leads price when it is based on price. A momentum calculated with 2 bars would be equal to price, but still wouldn't or couldn't lead it.
