He-he, it's called redistribution of the wealth, in other words - socialism.

About the country I disagree. Even though we have socialists half of the country, still there is another half...All other countries around the world have much bigger percentage of socialists, communists and other assholes who love to take other people's money.

Apparently its a nature of the man: what you can not earn - just take from the wealthy; when you failed - instead of blaming yourself blame the successful ones and make them pay for your loses, etc, etc.

Socialists keep fostering this nature in people, sometimes to the extremes.

But what I like about socialist's extremes: when dictators come - first thing they do - kill all the fucken socialists, I see some consolation in this... :)

  4. It's not the amount, mate. It's the principle. The philosophy.

  5. I hear from my friends and contacts in the US Senate that Senate Republicans are drafting additional language to the stimulus bill that re-directs all payments directly to the Saudis.

In the final analysis, it was the purpose for Bushs' visit there last week. (don't wanna run outta money to send over)

  6. Given the tiny, tiny number of people in California that would actually now qualify for jumbo loans, I doubt that any reasonable percentage of the treasury would be used to "subsidize the millionaires" in this regard.

It's a drop in the bucket. You think everyone makes $125k+ / year, has $200,000 to $250,000 cash available for downpayment, and can document this income going back 2 years?

Fat chance. I'm looking to buy a house in Scripps Ranch in San Diego, and the fact that NO ONE is showing up to open houses except myself says something. I better think twice too, considering that even the most desired areas in Cali are taking serious haircuts now. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
