I trust no internet site with my personal information. I only enter it if I have to and only to websites I am 100% confident about such as Amazon, and that isn't even very often. I certainly am not a Facebook user or anything of that sort.
Makes me wonder if in a down economy, marketers competing for fewer dollars = increased profiling into consumer buying habits. I wonder if we have correlation, recessions vs gathering of personal information. Of course putting aside gov't profiling in the name of terrorism or political reasons.
