Still trust any website with your info?

  1. A Journal investigation finds that one of the fastest-growing businesses on the Internet is the business of spying on consumers.

    First in a series.

Stay tuned for a demographic profile of "those who read" the first in a series.

  2. I trust no internet site with my personal information. I only enter it if I have to and only to websites I am 100% confident about such as Amazon, and that isn't even very often.

I certainly am not a Facebook user or anything of that sort.

  3. Makes me wonder if in a down economy, marketers competing for fewer dollars = increased profiling into consumer buying habits. I wonder if we have correlation, recessions vs gathering of personal information. Of course putting aside gov't profiling in the name of terrorism or political reasons.
