    Hello,

Don't laugh at me please... I'm a scalper, I Stay 9 hours a day in front of my computer with my right hand on the mouse ready to click... I guess I'm not the only one.

Since 6 months, my right arm, pectoral, shoulder and shoulder blade are starting to hurt. In fact not really hurting, they are just really stiff, especially at the end of the week. At one time I was afraid it was my lung, so I got to the doctor. I reviewed my symptoms but didn't give me some solution, other than "painkillers".

Is it common or is it just me because I have too much tension? Does someone knows a good remedy? I thought about starting to trade with keyboard but my methods don't allow it, especially with the platform I have now.

Thanks a lot for your help.

hey doc, i bashed my ass and my brain hurts!

wtf? how do get from arm to lung?

    sounds like repetitive strain injury.

try using your left hand, or better yet, be more selective in your trading - even as a scalper you shouldnt need to be doing this to yourself.

most scalpers i know (the good ones anyway) just trade a few hours a day, mostly around the open and figures.

Far too often, traders speak of a technical analysis edge, a fundamental edge, a psychological edge.........

Just as important is to be physically superior.......I focus intensely on building a great strong body -- I do shit in the gym that others can only dream of.........

Some lung pathology symptoms( not necessarily serious one ) involve hurting back, shoulder, arm or even digits.

However, this is not the case here. Nobody ever gets a stiff arm from trading?

  7. Perhaps the question comes down to arm's length transactions. Alternatively, you may be taking Browning to heart by placing your keyboard and mouse a bit too far: A man's reach should exceed his grasp, or what's a heaven for?

  8. Maybe frozen shoulder. Ask your doctor, they know what this is. Nothing bad, but they will prescribe physical therapy.
