A lesson to learn here. Never marry a woman below your socioeconomic status.

 

I hope she sues him into poverty. It's people like him who tarnish the image of decent traders and make no mistake, we lose money to insider trading assh*les.

 

So far it was not proved that he broke the law.

 

C'mon. Anyone with common sense knows he was cheating.

The laws are different for financial crimes for billionaires (Cohen, Corzine, etc) than regular people.

 

Raj Rajaratnam was cheating, feds got wiretaps. With Steve it's not obvious. FBI spent millions trying to get direct evidence against Cohen, no luck so far. He is the big prize in this game. What you call common sense is the result of successful media campaign. The fact that government did not even try to charge Steve directly after all this noise tells me they got nothing.

How it really works is, if they really want to catch someone, they find evidence. I think he paid his insurance via political donations and he's now cashing it in.
