This is what viruses do. They spread. This is normal and is the way to achieve herd immunity especially now that we know that this virus is not mutating.
"Natural herd immunity" for COVID is a fantasy. A vaccine is required. Yes, viruses spread..... they also kill millions of people. We should follow the best public health practices to stop the spread until a vaccine is widely available.
Th virus is mutating, this is not a predictable path. The more hosts, the greater the mutation opportunity. New1Speak2 contributes nothing except mindless propoganda.
Well in that case all of society should follow best public health practices to mitigate COVID until a vaccine completes Phase 3 trials showing it is safe and effective. There are now 4 vaccines in final trials that are likel yto be released early in 2021 in the U.S. After this the vaccine will need to be widely distributed across the U.S. to provide effective heard immunity after approximately 70% of our population is vaccinated.
Herd immunity is well on the way to being achieved without a vaccine. The simple truth in my view is that a vaccine may not be necessary.
Since herd immunity for COVID requires that 70% of the population to have immunity -- can you tell us what percent of the U.S. population currently has antibody immunity for COVID.
