But more importantly, it does not matter, because either way, melting ice is bad. Btw, before I forget, I agree with 377 (?) about "extinction? naw". Should there be a general crop failure due to drought and heat exhaustion, or due to cooling, many will perish, but it's very doubtful all humans would.
Yes it does matter. Despite the fact that too much melting ice is bad either way. Because it's yet another example of how people will ignorantly form and stubbornly cling to opinions on issues they don't understand. Here's what you wrote yesterday. How's that looking today?
It looks like an error. It happens. I still take satisfaction from the progress we've made on this forum over the past, what, 14 months? We've moved from, "there is no warming" to "there's warming, but Man is not much responsible for it". Good news indeed.
Maybe Ricter would like to read about ocean currents. Here is a good article. Skip down to the "deep water currents" section to learn about how the salianation can effect the north american current. http://essayweb.net/geology/quicknotes/ocean_currents.shtml and here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shutdown_of_thermohaline_circulation
You're still missing my point (or trolling) because your wording implies you think your opinions are more than just that, especially in light of how uninformed they can be (e.g. "it's laughable to say 'we're in danger of a new ice age'. Particularly in light of what we know, the world is warming--ice doesn't lie.").
http://www.religioustolerance.org/end_wrl18.htm Here is a short article I found about the end of the world happening in the next few years. 2011 was also the year of the Rapture and other ends-of-the-world that as we well know, never materialised. I think the end of the world would come about through something that noone envisages, having said that, its wrong to be totally unconcerned in very obvious environmental changes.
