I suggest pre-placing limit or stop limit orders and using smaller size. If you are going to do a stop-limit type trade give it a few ticks range at least to fill within. I have found that using time rather than price to manage the trade to be effective. For example if you need to take a loss use a time stop not a price stop, as with a price stop you are forced out at the wrong moment almost every time. Do not try to be a perfectionist. If you can't pre plan the trade and are going to try to interpret things and get order in on the fly... In my opinion that is not worth doing.
