Is that because it (gerrymandering) only happens within a state's boundaries and the electoral votes for president from a state are all or nothing.... based on the overall popular vote in that state? Hence boundaries don't matter?

Again, I’ve seen lists of people the Clintons allegedly murdered and accusations of all kinds of espionage and bribery and embezzlement and you name it but I have never seen one conviction or charge.

No, I’m sorry, it was not the candidate, who was obviously well qualified and suited for the office, that was the problem. It was the misinformation and the Russian interference and Comey that won Trump the presidency.

I am not doubting objective facts certified by authorities, I am doubting your unproven claims that have no basis than right wing media who regularly make shit up.

  6. It was the 'Dotard' word. After insulting everyone and their wives , trump never thought someone like Kim could pull off something like that. Since he heard of himself being referred to as a DOTARD from who else but Kim , he reversed every position he had of KIM (''I would never call Kim short and fat'') The DOTARD word really gave him the wakeup call.

Trump isn't chaffing anyone on the left off , he is more of an embarrassment than anything else.

  7. What misinformation? She was a complete failure as Secretary of State. One bad deal after another is some misguided effort to bring peace through appeasement. She broke a multitude of laws as Comey detailed in his infamous, she's a criminal but didn't intend to be press conference. Her hubris was such she felt no need to campaign in Michigan and Wisconsin, two states she vitally needed to win. She had zero charisma and could not, or would not make any effort to connect with the "commoners". Her only real campaign slogan was , vote for me, I don't have a penis and it's time for a president with a vagina. Beyond that, Russians have been trying to sway votes for decades. Nothing new, and even the Obama administration said they had no real impact on the election. No, the leftist elite was too busy planning the inauguration party to see the ground swell of support for someone different than the usual hacks paraded across the stage one election after another. So much so was this desire for someone different that Donald f'n Trump, carnival barker, snake oil salesman extraordinaire got the nod. Michael Moore was right on the money when he said Trump was the giant middle finger given to the Washington establishment, and it felt good. It still feels good, and all the excuse making by the left makes it feel even better. You guys can predict the end of the world, but the world isn't ending, in many ways it's getting better and all the screaming at the sky isn't going to change that.

U.S. judge questions special counsel's powers in Manafort case
    Sarah N. Lynch
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Reuters) - A federal judge on Friday sharply criticized Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s criminal case in Virginia against President Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, and openly questioned whether Mueller exceeded his prosecutorial powers by bringing it.

“I don’t see what relationship this indictment has with anything the special counsel is authorized to investigate,” U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis in the Eastern District of Virginia said.

At tense hearing at the federal courthouse in Alexandria, Virginia, the judge said Mueller should not have “unfettered power” in his Russia probe and that the charges against Manafort did not arise from the investigation into Moscow’s alleged meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.

Manafort is facing charges in both Virginia and Washington. The Virginia case charges him with offenses including tax and bank fraud. The other case accuses him of conspiring to launder money and failing to register as a foreign agent when he lobbied for the pro-Russia Ukrainian government.

None of the charges relate, however, to Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign or possible collusion with Russia. Trump has denied any collusion.

Lawyers for Manafort asked the judge in the Virginia case to dismiss an indictment filed against him in what was their third effort to beat back criminal charges by attacking Mueller’s authority.

The judge questioned why Manafort’s case there could not be handled by the U.S. attorney’s office in Virginia, rather than the special counsel’s office.

He also asked the special counsel’s office to share privately with him a copy of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosentein’s August 2017 memo elaborating on the scope of Mueller’s Russia probe. He said the current version he has been heavily redacted.

If Comey would have announced there was an investigation into the Trump campaign and Germany was helping Clinton get elected do you really think there would be a president Trump today?
