    There is no such thing as an assault rifle.

    Rifles are either short (carbines) or long (main battle guns, hunting rifles etc).

    The government cannot even define what they are proposing to ban.

    You can get rid of them, but they can be easily 3D printed now. And how would you "get rid" of them anyway?

    Not to mention that I can take two 10 round magazines, tape them upside down each other and swap out to 20 round availability in less than 2 seconds.
