start a hedge fund

    First off let me say that this site is amazing with all the info it has. now for the question. i am an experienced day-trader, good trading record, interested in starting a hedge fund. are there any educational requirements to do so, series exams, anything, or can anyone with the knowledge and money do so.

  5. All you need is some suckers to give you some capital and the rest is just all technicalities.

    If someone wired you some amount of money in the millions, you could find all you need from the web to get the operation started in a matter of hours.

    The key to all this is the cash. You have to find people that are going to blindly trust you with millions in cash.
