Sweden Infectious disease chief just claimed Stockholm is weeks away from achieving herd immunity, who knows who´s right, and how they came up with those numbers in Sweden (The Telegraph is also behind a paywall, let me know if I missed important information) https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/04/18/stockholm-will-reach-herd-immunity-within-weeks/
London looks to of reached herd, tube trains for you, spread very fast there and few new cases, rest of the country over the next week, NYC looks to of aswell depending on how accurate chart on stats site is If it is only 10% in italy then this is a nitemare which will last all year.
I think you should only worry about London (U.K.) and not be concerned about Italy nor NYC considering you reside only in the U.K. I don't say that to be mean but you have stated countless of times about fear, scared shitless and so on involving this Pandemic including how it impacts your ability to go to McDonalds and buy a hamburger. Thus, you're reacting too much to the media and you're not the only one. I see others doing the same that hang out on Twitter, Facebook or watching 24hr Euronews tv channel. It's endless...no mental rest from it. wrbtrader
Singapore getting 2nd wave, they fought it and it's back, surprise surprise lockdowns waste of time. Why did Australia with only 6000 cases lockdown for ages, it's a huge country with less than 1/2 the population of the UK, could of down it area by area and way too early it'll just come back like Singapore. I really do wonder, if anyone has a working brain cell these days
Stanford is not a fly by night outfit so I am sure there are logics in this madness. The tests were designed by statisticians similar to election polling so as to get a random sample paralleled the general population?
50 people out of 3,330 had antibodies. Then they or others said that was up to 80 times more than expected. What were they expecting to find, 1 or even 0 people with antibodies out of 3300? Really the whole test just showed how few people have antibodies. And antibody testing is currently a waste of time because so few people have them. Then they clutched at straws and tried to massage the percentages up by using statistics. My guess is they need to show high numbers to justify more funding. They just re confirmed the test results from Colorado. Which showed about 2% of the population there had antibodies. Even in Italy only 10% of the population have antibodies.
It was a bad place to test, why test some where, that's barely got the virus yet. Italy, pay wall, not heard they've done Antibody testing yet ?? the 10% sounded made up, but the keep the fear alive brigade to me. 2 Weeks Sweden before they think they'll reach herd immunity, lets see, if that's the case then this is a nothing burger as people with brains suspect. I know so many that have had it around here, it's obviously more than 10%, ignoring the group I spread it to and they spread it to which is cheating. LOL
