Interestingly, Abrams got along very well with republicans when she was in the state’s legislature. She would often be asked by republicans to review proposed legislation and to actually explain it to them and possible impacts on Georgia. She is actually highly regarded as a policy maker behind the scenes.

Suzi Carlson was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and briefly booked into jail, The Kansas City Star reports. She was cited for a DUI of .08 or greater and another for failure to maintain a single lane, and her bond was $1,000. “We do not have any additional information right now, but we expect local law enforcement to provide more details once they’ve completed their review,” House Speaker Ron Ryckman, an Olathe Republican, said in a statement. As The Kansas City Star points out, Carlson is the fourth Kansas lawmaker to be arrested in the past year, following Rep. Aaron Coleman, a Kansas City Democrat, Sen. Gene Suellentrop, a Wichita Republican, and Rep. Mark Samsel, a Wellsville Republican.

Judging by his magnificent job leading the country and dealing with foreign affairs (like basically starting a peace movement in the middle east, now defunct under Biden) I would say that he is a disciplined person His biggest flaw, to my eye, was hiring John Bolton, Anthony Fauci and a few others like Steve Bannon (he got rid of him pretty quickly to his credit however). But on the whole he was the best President in my lifetime. He may get another shot. Or not. Either way I proudly voted for him and would do so again.

See when you say best president of your lifetime that raises a lot of issues because he did not really do anything except brag about what others did as though he did it... You voted for him more against HRC and Obama.... there was nothing redeeming in his rally chants of lies that people knew were not true. I know plenty of people who voted for trump with the rationale of "They hated HRC a lot more" or "Trump said he would do X and that is the only issue i care about with a GOP Congress"..... I can get behind all of that. But the man, as we all know him growing up in NYC, has been a douche his whole life and an empty braggard and he changed nothing when he ran for office and especially after winning an election (an election that a child could have won but HRC basically missed an open lay up). To claim he was the best president is simply ignoring the truth of what he did and said those 4 years. I dont claim any president in my lifetime was ever the best because the role has changed and think all of them are full of shit (i did government contracts under 2 presidents and watched them take credit fro shit they did not even know was going on.... Presidents dont shape countries the way Jefferson and Lincoln and Roosevelt did... they just pander and get led around by the party. trump was liberal for many years and simply did what Bannon and others told him to ... there is ZERO integrity in claiming trump did anything but pad his trump empire wealth and tell everyone he knows more about viruses, debt, military, terrorism than everyone.
