You need to go to Account Login.

Under account login go to Upgrade Account type. There is a block to select SSF. Once you go thru that process and your account gets approved you will not get that message on TWS. Took two days for my SSF account to be approved.

  2. Did that a week ago and still can't get permission. The box is checked when I visit the permissions page.

"Ready, willing but not yet able to trade SSF" :D

Go back to account upgrade and look at the blue box to see if account approval is pending.

  8. FYI: if you are an IB user and your SSF status is correctly set,
you should see SSF closing quotes by now. (column: close,
    obviously theoretical settlement price)

  9. Since it sounds like we have to sell the SSF through the same exchange that we bought it through how will TWS handle this? Will we want quotes from both exchanges? Or am I misunderstanding this rule? Nas
