SS&C GlobeOp: Net Flows to Hedge Funds Up 0.31% in June

    Capital flows to hedge funds rose a modest 0.31% in June, according to the most recent reading of SS&C GlobeOp’s Capital Movement Index. The May reading for the measure, which comes out on the ninth business day of each month, was much higher, at 0.92%.

    The company’s Hedge Fund Performance Index, meanwhile, gained 2.20% during the month. Also on the ninth business day of each month, this asset-weighted index flashes an estimate of the gross aggregate performance of funds for which SS&C GlobeOp provides monthly administration services on its platform.

    SS&C GlobeOp’s Capital Movement Index tracks monthly hedge fund subscriptions and redemptions administered by SS&C GlobeOp on the company’s platform, divided by the total assets under administration.

    Founded in 1986, SS&C provides investment and financial software-enabled services and software focused exclusively on the global financial services industry.

    The Windsor, CT-based company provides services to more than 7,000 financial services organizations who manage an aggregate $26 trillion in assets.
