  3. While I do enjoy watching the show Scrubs, believe it or not, I actually taught (back in the late 1980's - early 1990's) surgeons (in the Operating Room) how to use an experimental artificial skin (for skin grafts) to speed the recovery time, reduce morbidity and reduce mortality for burn patients. While I didn't invent "See One. Do One. Teach One." I have seen first hand the effectiveness of the paradigm.

  4. You ended the day to the plus side - a good thing. However, you need to improve your debriefing skills. You should find the words "I have no idea why I did [this thing]" abhorrent - and unacceptable as an answer. If one cannot understand why one decided to take action, then one should not take action. Furthermore, how can one hope to improve if one does not understand why a trader generated an error. I encourage everyone to take notes (either written or audio / video recordings) of their thoughts. In such a fashion, one can then avoid hearing themselves say, "I dunno' why I didn't follow my own rule set."

Again, nice job on ending the day positive.

  5. My M-A-D while watching the recorded replay of the day is fantastic. Now, if I can learn to apply the zoom in / zoom out focus coupled with the calm disposition I display during the play back, I'm freakin golden :D.
