ljyoung, Just a suggestion. Could you post your question and attach the image directly rather than embedding the image in a word document. It would make it a lot easier for everyone reading journal to read your postings.
No problem except I don't know how to do what you request. Could you please tell me the protocol [or give me a link]. TIA lj
When STR-SQU falls into the Neutral Category, we view such a signal as continuation. When STR-SQU moves to an area outside the +2 to -2 range, we view such signals as change. One should only look to STR-SQU for a signal at the appropriate moment during a sweep of one's data set. An example of one such moment occurs when YM Price sits on the extremes. FBP forms from two Price Bars, whereas, a Lateral Formation requires a minimum of three Price Bars to form. Mine, yes. Jack's, no. It is what it is. Nothing less. Nothing more. - Spydertrader
lj, Please take the following as friendly advice and not in any other light: Leave the tick charts, moving average'S', and the other 'indicators' off your charts for awhile and concentrate on 'proper' annotation of an ES chart. You have brought up a lot of good questions lately, but maybe a little far along for what I perceive is your current experience level. Perhaps posting an ES chart for others to review? If I am wrong I apologize now. -Mike

I'm a whirling Dervish and a Tasmanian devil but I do know how to slow down and digest things. I appreciate your comments and take no offense. I have RoughTrader's post of a few days ago on my cork "Action Board". Thanks. Sincerely, Larry
