  2. Ahhhh....

  3. Where one chooses to draw their 'lines in the sand' depends much on individual psychology. In other words, exiting on a break of the RTL (irrespective of Volume Levels) locks in profits, but causes the trader to 'miss' the FBO's which increase profits. On the other hand, holding when decreasing Volume causes price to break an RTL often captures the FBO and Price's subsequent return to the channel, but also increases the risk of Price 'taking off' and eating away at the profits already achieved. As you can see, no 'one right way' exists which applies equally to all traders. One simply must determine which coarse of action best suits their needs, then act accordingly.

As a trader gains experience, and an ability to correctly anticipate what must come next, the trader knows what decision becomes most appropriate based on the current context. For now, note what differences exist between when Price creates an FBO after decreased volume exit, and when Price continues onward. After you 'see' these differences often enough, you'll know what context requires which action, at the appropriate point in time.

    Good trading to you.

  4. Here is a video of Friday Nov 30.
This is of the time frame around 2:30 to 4 pm.

This is a tick replay of the ES 5 minute, Es 1 minute and ES tick.
The 15:10 bar is a turning point. This is not annotated so you can view what takes place in your own sight.

Just wanted to post this because it shows what is inside the 5 Minute ES bar at important times.

It does play out till about 4pm, so there are other important bars as well.
Great little exercise to go over and see tick and 1 minute bars on ES play out.

The colors on tick could be brighter for the video, but clear enough to see what is happening.

The entire time frame is sped up to 3 minutes total.

  6. This is the future of quick videos and screencaptures.
This is called JING and is a project by Techsmith makers of Camtasia.

    This is awesome stuff.

Here is a quick video I did, of a trade that WGtrader posted on Friday.
It is of the time around 11:20am.
WGtrader recognized a turn on the 11:20 bar with the use of a finer resolution tool , tick.

He was able to identify this turn, and profited with an excellent trade.
I am running a tick replay of the 5 minute ES and the ES tick chart.
On this video I added voice, to run by what is taking place at the tick level while comparing the bars at the same time.

Here is the link : http://www.screencast.com/users/VIDEOS1/folders/Jing/media/d3aa47cd-cf34-497d-8e20-43abb9730b3a

Thanks E for the tip on JING , great stuff !

  7. The Free Hosting Company (in this example 4shared) probably deleted the Account after a specified period of time. As such, the files were most likely deleted. Perhaps, someone has a copy that could direct you to its new location.
