I find I have to get caught up on the annotating for the day first and avoid jumping right in. You feel you might be missing something, so just assume you will and take the time to get up to speed. Also jumping out to higher time frames helps to slow things down and get a perspective. Just a quick glance at the daily, 60 min, 30 min and 15 min. By the time you get to the 5 minute there is no sense of needing to rush things. Laying off the expresso helps too - EZ
guava, Looks like you have those pennants down now. You are even picking off SYM pennants inside laterals. . . nice !! Nap good guava!
If I find myself asking what is going on?! I will force myself out. so far, it's been very rewarding. it's like a reversal signal to me looking back, it's pathetic to hold a position I don't even understand.
As I've been reviewing the journal, I've come up with some questions, so I guess I'll ask them one by one. Please have a look at the attached. Let's say we're just trying to trade the rules for the forest / tree method. In this case, I assume (I hope I'm not wrong) that when we identify an FTT, we want to reverse our position. There are times that a channel is established, and tapes will whip back and forth in the center of the channel (or ride along the RTL) without ever reaching the LTL (necessary and sufficient condition for FTT). In this case, we can be "fooled" repeatedly in taking the reverse trade and churn our account. When trading the limb-level, if we try to trade the legs, these kinds of legs can also lead to churn, particularly for channels that are very skinny. Comments?
