  1. Out of 81 bars in a day, you described an event where it occurred three times as 'over and over.' Now, which three bars? This way, we can know if these bars fall into a flaw or formation.

Edit: I just reviewed your post and it appears you are talking about the first two bars of the day? You aren't even trading on these bars as you do not have 'sync' yet.

  2. Of the 3 I found, the first I would call a lateral. The other two were part of what I think was a dominant traverse.

On the video it was bar 5 of the day (it was 1/29/07) and on Jack's screen it said 8:35 and 8:40 bar I believe. I don't recall how that related to central or eastern time. Bar 13 and 14.

Please keep in mind I found 3 examples by jumping to them, I don't know how many out a 81 I can find this phenomenon.

  3. No prob... Bundle. From the beginning, the goal is simple. Learn how to make your bread & butter. It is a very critical initial step. There are more than just a few bread and butter folks around here. We do not hear about these folks because they do not want to be known AND sadly do not want others to know. When I say more than one way to skin a cat, I am literally saying that there are easier approaches to pulling money out of the market then what you find in these pages. The spectra and his folks charge a premium to see how they skin it and their rule is very simple, buy and sell exactly when they say so. It is alot easier to just hit the button when they punch in when. Being lost is not a good thing. But this is why channels were way back in the beggining. So I do my charts differently then Spyder but we get to the same answers and actions usually. Somehow, you have to get to a point where at the very least something works for you. If not here, why not elsewhere? Reason being is that if one never gets to a point where something works within a relatively brief window of time, the task at hand will seam impossible... From my perspective, I don't understand where the misunderstanding is with PRV? I saw DKM's clip and didn't see any evidence of what you might be talking about... What am I missing?

  6. I intend this post as a wake up call, not as an attack. If you chose to take it in a negative fashion, fine, but I simply do not have the time to edit this post for political correctness.

The gentleman suggested you go to ground school first when learning to fly. In other words, things have an order to them. You do not run before you can walk or crawl. Now, learning pilots either follow that paradigm or they don't. You either followed that paradigm or you didn't. You did sit in class before you went into the air. Hence, you proved his point. The very fact that this needs explaining to you should signal a red flag. Nobody twisted your words. You decided on your own what he meant, no different than you do every time someone, somewhere provides you information. You filter it, and later, argue that the person who spoke it, wrote it or posted it meant something other than what the actually intended.

    Any of this sounding familiar?

    It should.

  7. This is HUGE. I agree so much. I've tried about 4 methods and investigated countless. When I say try, I mean spent months to years. Never got anything to work. This after EIGHT EXCRUCIATING years. I have been a VENDOR, believe it or not. I sold a cd-rom for $3,500!!!!!!! My partner was an ex-floor trader and he couldn't explain it to me either. Yet I produced all the tools needed to apply his method and I taught people how to make money!!!!!! This is too stupid to make up :) Perhaps I really am stupid, stupid in a street sense. Why couldn't I get it, I have some really unuseful patterns that make it so I need to see it work before I can do it.

I am aware of my patterns. Finding the flaws (no pun intended) is a meta-program for me (that means I'm a polarity responder and a differences person for those who know NLP). This combination is relatively rare. SPyder, recall I told you Mr. L was this combination. It makes forward progress almost impossible. It hurts that so many have suggested it's my fault for not progressing. You see, at some point it's not about the effort. I have found a way that I can learn damn near anything. It involves being shown.

Frankly, I was hoping that my trip to Tucson would have that, it didn't. And, honestly, at that point it would have been worthless to me, because I needed to grow the basic skills.

I need to SEE HOW a trader makes the bread and butter. Moreover, I need to codify the specific modal strategies used. Once I get something, I'm pretty much as good as anybody on the planet. Before I get it, I appear learning disabled.

  8. There is something called the meta model. IT's very useful to detect the accuracy of languge. I'm as guilty as anyone of using inaccurate language. When someone says "always", you question them back, "are you sure". Above you say I "always" do something. Now, I bet you mean it happens too damn often for your liking. BUt it most assuredly is not always.

I invite you to consider the possiblity that you are human too.

You have said "always" when what you really meant was "almost always"

That may not be big deal to you. For me it is a learning disability.

  9. Sorry, I have it on a DVD and it's a 2 1/2 file. I don't think anyone has uploaded it anywhere.

  10. whooooosh ....... right on by.

Rather than admit a repeated pattern exits in your behavior, obviously, you'd rather discuss linguistics. Fine by me, but it has nothing to do with my liking it or not.

If you ever get around to posting an actual chart of the day in question, with arrows pointing to the actual bars (as I don't understand how Bar 5 can occur at 8:35 on any time zone), let me know.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend all.
