  1. When you visited Tucson in January, Jack used OTR Charts in his presentation.

  2. I believe you're quite right. I think it has to do with misinterpretting what or how it was said. R/R was in Tucson with myself, and I think he may have done what I did (others too).

I just changed to a tick chart instead of range chart, and now it looks like the drawn image.

  4. Then some of us are using range charts, and some tick charts. Like R/R, I don't see how you could possible detect or observe 2pairs at all. They simply can not show up on a range chart.

On the other hand, volume gaussians don't look like anything on a tick chart. Perhaps if you can post a screen shot of what you see a 2pair is on your set up would clear things up a bit.

Thanks for all your help, your latest suggestion is doing what it's supposed to :)

  5. No doubt.

The attached chart should have a few circled areas for you to view. Due to the recent high volatility, most OTR charts over the last few weeks have not shown residence. This is not a function of the OTR vs Tic chart, but rather a function of the fast paced markets. Today' should provide the examples needed.

I recommending looking at OTR Gaussians once again.

Your are most welcome. Glad to hear of your success.

  6. Spyder,

All makes sense. Gaussians on OTR stick out like sore thumb, not so on tick chart. The thing that is (was) throwing me for a loop is that I was looking for formations on the OTR which mimicked or were similar to the hand drawn image, which you may or may not get, depending on "residency".

FOr those confused by all my comments, the bottom line is simply that a single bar on the OTR can be anything from one to many, many bars on a tick chart.

I concur, and I certainly appreciate everything that has been done thus far.

  9. Does OTR Charts mean "One Tick Range Charts"?

  10. If it is OK to ask a question about last month's study, the DOM & the WALL.

I have noticed that the bounce off the wall appears to occur 2 ticks from the WALL, not off the wall. Is this your experience? Or do you see it slam right off the WALL on the DOM when it is there?
