Well, I don't really use indicators much anymore. Just Gaussians, formations, volume, etc. Look, and you can see you just got your pt 3 on the 5 minute - top, 2nd from right. Here's a screenshot of my entire set up, FYI.
Sold this yesterday right away. Was a down day, Pakistan, and sold when it went below the prev day's close - 53.94. Up 2%. Then went and bought it again today at 54.13 when it passed its open. Churn, churn for those 2%erz...
Still holding ESEA, TSL, DRYS through the slow day yesterday. Here's my results since I started trading stocks again Sept 20. +146% overall. Month to month results: 10 days in Sep - +64% Oct - -1% Nov- +10% Dec- + 38% Max draw down was about 32%, mainly early on when the PDT rule kept me from exiting positions on the same day I bought them. No longer a problem, so I don't see that happening any more. Anybody else care to share? Spyder - is this journal going to stay open? Start a new one? Should WE start a new one?
Haroki you have really done well. Congratulations I hope Spyder stays with us. We lost Jack in the Tucson group and don't really have a group anymore. Time happens and things change. Hope we can all stay together here. I really appreciate the comments and help that members contribute here. Happy New Year to all.
Ill be watching CMED next few days. PT 123, MACD, STOCH all look decent. Favorable article on IBD website might also help w/ volume.
I'll post a Final Chartscript (complete with automated trendlines) and New Dry Up Scan shortly. I also plan to combine Equities and Futures (along with options and forex should anyone wish to apply these methods to those trading vehicles) into one location within the next few days. - Spydertrader
Haroki, congrats on your fine result, very nice indeed My own results are far from excellent, but as I'm still in the learning process, I'll hopefully make a comeback this year. Spyder, thanks for your dedication to this thread/material. I look forward to what 2008 will bring
