Looks like it's dead for now, although it may have some juice in it if overall markey volume returns. Sold at 14.34 +5.8%
Bought TSL @ 52.72. It did a nice pause after BO, now resuming some nice volume. Lots of room to go with this one.
Also grabbed YTEC @ 14.41 late in the day. Was looking at SMSI from the deleted list when it was up around 5%, but let it slip from my mind. Of course it closed up 13%. LOL.... Still in SOLF, + 37%
Ok, I'll confess. I did the dirty and averaged down on XING after that 13% gap down a few days ago and got out of it yesterday with a small loss, about 2%. Of course, this am it gaps up 20%. It never fails...
DRYS was a clear buy today as I did have it on my watchlist. Nicve Brunio R setup in my opinion. I didnt get in cause Im still experiencing caution to pull the trigger. Ive been going over 30 min charts and feel that with Bruno R setups and even just beginner method setups I feel safer waiting for a point 3 to be formed on the 30 min chart along with continued volume levels for a better entry point. If you look at the first two bars of DRYS it clearly had the initial run up described by Jack in the Bruno R document. So I'm waiting for the retrace and then a point three to come in(with volume) and I might grab 100 shares. My question is, can someone show their Guassian analysis for DRYS and with respect to my description of my possible entry point, is this a good/safe assessment?
Haroki, 2 questions. Did you buy based on the thought that the current bar might turn to increasing black on the 5 min chart? I use the 30 min for buys as I have heard the 5 min chart is erratic. Whats your feelings on this? Also, how do you get that tool where it predicts volume over the next interval?
Like I said, I took note of it last night, and was watching it real close this am. The 5 min was already waaay up, volume wise, and the 30 min was turning at the time. This was one of those that I wouldn't hesitate to bail out of if need be. The tool is a part of Quotetracker. It's like 7$ a year and can use your broker's data feed. You can try a free version that has some ads running on it.
Thanks, I just feel like there's always gonna be a chart that shows an entry signal. You can get a signal according to MACD and Stochastics on the 30 min the 15 the 5 etc... How do you know which is best and/or most reliable for the system.
