  5. No one else got into FTK?

I bought it on the way up and now it's hovering around my purchase price.

Sold CMED during the intraday dip as it hit my trailing stop. Looks like I sold near the low for the day. Bleh.

  6. I'm in on FTK at my purchase price as well. I am still holding on CMED. I have a 5% trailing stop, so it did not quite get there for the day.

I am also in on CALM. It was right under DU , but all the indicators were right, and its near the bottom of its long term chanel. So far it is up .2 points for me.

Dry up volume scan: Hershey Equities Dry up Volume scan v. 2.0.0 (three month)

For charts: Hershey Equities Chartsript Version 4.2

I think that Spyder also eyeballs his charts, so he sometimes gets additional stocks in dry up that the scan doesn't catch.

  9. MrBlue999, and JF,

I'm curious to know what time you each got in to your position.

Both FTK and CMED would have been buy on open purchases for me. Especially FTK as CMED's entry would have been yesterday.

The above entries wouldn't have been strictly following the method but looking at normal S/R, the hourly chart, and daily volume told me that I had at least a buck move on either one if I bought on open or close to it after observing the 5 minute for a bit.

Note that I didn't play the above as I was focusing on RIO and EWZ (non-method), however both FTK and CMED were on my buy list for today.

In particular, look at CMED's daily chart. CMED broke daily and weekly highs yesterday, 25 October 2007. Generally speaking, short of a market crash, if general news and the market keep neutral to positive, I've found that a stock will follow through, if only for a buck or two. The time to buy CMED was probably on the open of 23 October 2007, after 22 October 2007 bounce off of weekly lows.

  10. I bought CMED on the 25th @ 41.58. The time of the execution was 10:12. I got the buy signal around that time but can't remember if I just went with a market order or waited for a fill.

I got into FTK today at 09:57. I bought it on the way up and I think I just took the ask price.

I noticed CMED broke out of range too but that was after I already bought it with the rules. I'm not advanced enough to try to anticipate moves yet so just buying as it comes. I got out of CMED with about a 5% gain to protect profits but unfortunately around the low of the day.

I've been holding RIO in my portfolio for several years now. Also bought some RIO-P earlier this week when it dipped. It has just been an excellent stock. Wish I got in even earlier.
