  1. Thanks for the replies. Looks like some great study material in conjunction with the laurence connors book. The book will arrive this week and I look forward to sharing my discoveries.

For now, My preliminary thought process is to look for range contraction in high beta stocks and then have BOs of pennants that look good. this is just a summary but I will know how it goes.

    Thanks again.

    Spyder,

Was wondering what you currently use to measure PRV?

    Thanks,

  3. While you wait for him to respond, I use QuoteTracker for the PRV tool.

  4. I mentally calculate it, but Quotetracker provides a very nice PRV tool for free.

Ya I use Pr0crast's PRV, its works really nicely. Although, lately I have been practicing with Ensign, and I found it difficult to mentally PRV the bars. Do you use a stop watch? Wait till 50% of the time is up to estimate? If you could elaborate on how you think through your mental PRV it would help a lot.

    Thanks,
    - Monkman

  8. Here's an update on that trade. I think tomorrow if all goes well it may hit my RTL, at which point I'm going to take half off. The calls are trading at 17.00 right now, which is a nice profit from my entry. I think this stock has legs still, if the market stays like this so I will keep half until my secondary target is hit.

    As always, all comments welcome!

I guess you wanted to write LTL ... How have you determined the position of the left trend line of your widest channel?

  10. Man, you are fast AND have a great eye... :p

Yes, the LTL of the widest channel on that chart. DRYS has been moving so much that I was tired of VE'ing it and I just moved it up to where it would be if the price hit the LTL of the IT channel today. On my charts it's back to where it should be, now that today has closed.

Thanks for your input as always!
