  1. Our system failed to generate any signals today. Actual volume for our Dry Up Stocks failed to exceed calculated Dry Up Volume prior to 11:30 AM. As a result, we do not enter into any trades today.

  2. Perhaps the list needs to be expanded. Today was my most profitable day ever.

Too many filters, while increasing expectancy per trade, reduces profits if too few trades are made. Wealth-lab testing confirms this clearly.

  4. I have eliminated the following stocks from our "Final Universe List" for failing to maintain their rank.

HLEX PETD SWIR ASKJ SMTS VSEC NTES LWAY TRMM INSP NVEC LSCP DPTR DECK MSA LIFC ANIK BAMM ENWV NAVR CRDN IDSY ALDN

The stocks listed above no longer cycle a minimum of 5 times in the last six months. Our current "Final Universe List" now stands at 36 stocks. However, of those 36 companies, GOAM, ANTP, NGPS, IDSA, HLIT, MT & HRT continue to have float outside our normal parameters.

  5. Hi Spyder

I use Smartmoney to screen for high growth stocks with high RS, a low float, but adequate volume (sorry don't have it open right now for the exact parameters but the exact parameters are not the 'edge' - the general principles are what matter).

I then look for setups where volume and price and 5 day rate of change tick up simultaneously, while stoch is less than 70 - so buying pressure is indicated but not overbought. Then I check the a range of moving averages, and support and resistance to gauge the general potential of the setup.

  9. 2005-02-01, Tuesday - Update

I didn't realize the system administrators removed the subject lines from posts during their recent upgrades to the ET web site. I apologize for any confusion resulting from the lack of clarity.

Our normal system failed to generate a signal today, however, we did receive a buy signal from one of the systems currently undergoing testing. CALM triggered a buy signal at the $12.00 price point. We arrive at CALM, by looking at Watch List Stocks, currently in Dry Up, and with a G33M4K Score of Zero. When volume exceeded the previous day volume, the system generates a signal to go long. In order to obtain an accurate picture for the results of this variant of the Hershey Equities System, we require additional tests. As such, we PAPERTRADE the signal for CALM. Again, the CALM trade is a papertrade, NOT a real trade.
