  1. 2005-09-30, Friday - Midday Update

    This morning, I monitored one list of stocks (9 total equities): Those equities from our daily Hot List and from our Final Universe List finding themselves "In Dry Up."

    Dry Up Stocks

    CKCM CMT CTHR ELOS FORD IRIS RATE SNHY VDSI

    Our system generated three possible trade signals from the list of nine Dry Up Stocks when actual volume exceeded calculated "Low Band" Dry Up Volume prior to 11:30 AM.

    Dry Up Stocks Triggering Signal

    RATE CTHR CMT

    Dry Up Stocks NOT Triggering Signal

    CKCM ELOS FORD IRIS SNHY VDSI

    RATE did not show price improvement ($26.99) at time of signal generation (10:25 AM). In addition, MACD Histogram showed a negative return (-.0992). Also, The Stochastic Indicator fell below desired levels (45.74). As a result, I took no action with respect to trading RATE.

    CTHR did show price improvement ($24.67) at time of signal generation (11:06 AM). In addition, MACD Histogram showed a positive return (+.0127). Also, The Stochastic Indicator fell above desired levels (97.01). As a result, I entered into a long position with CTHR receiving a fill price of $24.69 USD on 1000 shares.

    CMT did show price improvement ($5.69) at time of signal generation (11:29 AM). However, MACD Histogram showed a negative return (-.0003). In addition, The Stochastic Indicator fell above desired levels (96.09). As a result, I took no action with respect to trading CMT.

  3. 2005-09-30, Friday - EOD Update

    None of our Dry Up Stocks reached FRV levels by EOD. As a result, I sold all (1000) shares of CTHR receiving an average fill price of $25.01 USD on 1000 shares. This intraday trade yielded a gross profit of $320 USD or a gain of 1.3% on 1000 shares.

    I continue to hold all (1000) shares of VPHM.

  7. To create the following lists of stocks, I used 90 RS and 80 EPS. Using 90 RS and 90 EPS resulted in an initial stocktables.com sort of too few equities.
