  1. To create the following lists of stocks, I used 90 RS and 80 EPS. Using 90 RS and 90 EPS resulted in an initial stocktables.com sort of too few equities.

I'm using Excel to monitor volume levels and I'm in the process of trying to find moves by capturing data in 5 minute intervals.

Now, my worksheet is failing to do calculations automatically even though it is checked under options and tools menu. There are no circular references present and when I hit F9 all cells update.

Has anyone had a similar problem in the past?

Thank you very much for the information. I very much appreciate it.

This morning all the links and calculations were working properly. It had to do with all links being established and not just one, even though one of them had nothing to do with the calculations I was experimenting with.

But I joined the group you have recommended.

    Thank you again.

  6. Spyder how do you determine the size of your positions in a stock or do you trade every stock with for example 1000 shares? And how many weight do you give every trade as a percentage of your total equity for example; you have a total equity of $100000 and you use 10% on a single trade so you can buy 1000 shares with a value of $10 per share. I ask this because this determines for a large part the outcome of your total percentage return and the number of different positions you can trade.

  7. Jack Hershey recommends dividing one's capital into 'streams' for placing into the market each day. Jack has recommended using 4 to 8 streams of capital. Such activity creates an environment for easy position sizing as one would simply buy the maximum shares permitted by the funds available in each stream. For my position sizing, I have settled into a comfort level with 1000 shares on each equity. Another contributor to this thread advised me to begin increasing the number of shares traded slightly in order to increase the overall return on equity. I plan to take this advice and implement such a plan in the very near future.

    Hello Spydertrader,

You list ELOS and LUFK as triggering signals today but they do not make the dry up list. Do you have other criteria for watching and trading these (ELOS) today?

    Thank you.
