There seems to be a discrepancy in the volume data between the two. For example MCRI March 4, 2005 volume is 1 million apart.
I refreshed all data in Wealth-Lab developer, and for some reason all my numbers are now closely matching the website. I think I had some kind of data hiccup from Yahoo or WLD... seems like it happens from time to time. Can anyone attest to the veracity of Yahoo data in general as opposed to other data providers?
In the past, Yahoo data showed notoriously poor consistency prompting me to pay for "superior data services." However recently, I have had fewer problems with Yahoo data, and more problems with the "quality data providers." It appears, no matter what data one uses, it pays to "double check" the numbers. Feel free to continue to question any anomalies you notice. We all benefit from checking each other's numbers. - Spydertrader

2005-05-19, Thursday - Final Universe Update The following Stocks have been DELETED to the Final Universe List as of 2005-05-19 due to Failure to Maintain Rank: COGT, NFLX, SGTL, SYNA, TOPT & XXIA.
I just ran SYNA through http://www.wealth-lab.com/cgi-bin/WealthLab.DLL/testsystem and got a rank of 4.61 and score of 7 Why did you drop it ?
I actually would have got a long signal with SYNA yesterday (but I didn't take it as I don't trade this method.)
The Wealth-Lab web site chartscript uses EOD data. The rank and score attributed to SYNA uses data ending 05/18/2005. I ran through the process early this afternoon. I suspect you may find SYNA fails to cycle 5 times in six months if you run the same scan again after Wealth-Lab compiles data for today. Let me know your results. - Spydertrader
